Learning Groups
Monthly thematic units are introduced to encourage each age group to grow and learn at their own pace. Our lessons are developed so that at each level they are learning foundational skills that will make the next level of learning possible.
Our goal is to help your child develop all of the skills needed to be successful in TK and Kindergarten.
Under 2
Our Under 2 group is the perfect place to welcome your little one to our community.
We have a strong focus on building a connection with each child this age. Our belief is that is a child feels secure in our care then they will be open to learning.
Learning at this age looks like developing language and communication, learning to work through big feelings, and discovering the world through independent opportunities.
We work with each child to help them reach their developmental milestones through one-on-one and small group play.
We work with parents to reassure you that your child is creating a beautiful start to their lifelong learning journey.
Ages 2-3
Our 2-3 group is where we introduce structure to play. Our monthly thematic units are introduced to help children this age further develop language and explore new physical, cognitive and emotional challenges.
Language development is all about expanding their vocabulary and moving from short phrases to full sentences.
Physical development is introduced through song, play and structured challenges that encourage the body brain connection to grow and build kinesthetic awareness.
Cognitively, we are helping to develop play stamina, problem solving skills and stronger memories.
Emotionally we are making sure that each child continues to feel supported and validated in their feelings. We help them start to build an emotional toolbox that will be the foundation for working through disregulation.
Ages 3-4
Our 3-4 group is where introduce deeper learning on all levels. Our monthly thematic units continue at this age allowing for more independence, imagination and curiosity.
Social skills and character development take center stage at this age. Children are moving towards group play and friendships and are given the space and skills to not only develop strong friendships but also skills on how to be a kind person to themselves and others.
Stronger math skills are formed through the introduction of spatial awareness, patterns and logic as well as counting and number recognition.
Cognitively we are continuing to work on problem solving skills and encourage children to get curious and ask questions. We are also working on memory to complete three step tasks.
We prepare them for success in Transitional Kindergarten and beyond.
